Hi everyone ! Here I am running on "my bridge" The Ben Franklin Bridge In Philadelphia, Pa...The bridge connects Philadelphia with Camden, NJ. with the Delaware River below. It is an awesome feeling at the apex looking at the sights, hearing the horns of the tugboats, watching the speed boats crush the water below. Admiring the structure, & really appreciating one thing....he guys who paint this monster! You deserve every nickel & more that you get paid! The distance is 3.1 miles over & back ! It is a great warmup, or as I used it, made it my half way mark en route to a 10 or 12 mile run ! It also serves as my invitation to other would be runner's who wanted to run with me....I would tell them to run the bridge, do it in less than 30 minutes then come & see me! By doing this, it told me if they were committed, disciplined & ready for more ! ') p.s. check out the lights & my shorts....color corrdinated, baby ! BaaaaZinng ! ')
