| Fitness Statement | I run three times a week for health, fresh air, and to enjoy time with friends. It started with several soccer moms keeping active while our sons were practicing. Why go home and come back? Let's just stay at the practice location and go for a run together. Now I run twice a week with my dog, a friend and her dog, and the weekend's run is dog-free with other friends. I love the positive energy of a racing crowd, and I find having a next race on the calendar keeps my training consistent. I'm lately more interested in keeping healthy and having fun (often running a friend's pace) than pushing myself to the limit in each race. |

| Running Achievements | I've run a full marathon, although I probably could have taken 30 minutes off my time if I hadn't been limping for 15 miles with knee pain which I'd never had before or since! But it takes too much time to train, so my favorite distance to race is the half marathon; my PR is 1:52:15. I've done 1 full marathon (Women's Nike), 8 half marathons, 5 10Ks, 3 15K doubles and 4 5Ks so far. |
