| This RRCA Western Region Half Marathon Championship certified 13.1 mile course is ranked as one of the most scenic in the country by Runner¹s World. The 5K event starts at the same time and from the same location, and ends at the same location as the Half Marathon. Competitive and fun runners enjoy a morning in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Kaiser Permanente wants to help you exercise your Mind, Body and Sole to promote your total health. This Half Marathon and 5K Fun Run is presented by Pamakid Runners Club. | |

Course Description
John F. Kennedy Drive east of Stow Lake Drive is the starting point. Both the 5K and half marathon are point to point with a net loss in altitude from the east end of Golden Gate Park to the far west end. After three hours into the race, participants still on the course will be moved to the running path to finish (the finish line is open for four hours after the event’s start).
