Extremely hilly race, especially the second half. Without question the toughest marathon I have ever run (23). Temperature could also have had something to do with it as I had trained in 20-30 temps and the temp on race day was ~70 whch I wasn't used to.
On the plus side, interesting course that goes through several local universities, past Ebenezer Baptist Church (where MLK Jr first preached) his childhood home and his museum. Also goes by Jimmy Carter Library and Museum and some very nice neighborhoods. I believe there were 16,000 runners with the majority being half marathoners.
