The Hilton Head Island Marathon features a scenic certified course that takes participants thru two parks and over the Broad Creek. The Marathon Course Runs thru several communities including: Spanish Wells, Point Comfort & Honey Horn Plantation. The course is fast and flat with an incline at the Broad Creek Bridge, which is about a one mile span and is done over and back twice.

Notes: Not really a "flat" race as you run up (and down) a pretty step 1 mile bridge, FOUR times! Temps ended up at 78, sunny without a cloud in sight. Probably half of the race was run on a highway which also radiated heat. Parts were really nice but probably wouldn't run it again.
