"I'm confident you will make it next year. I admire your determination and toughness in competition and analyzing what to do better next time. I like it! . You are a real inspiration to us and a determined competitor. Not many runners including myself could run the distances you have so be proud of what you have accomplished and will continue to accomplish. Maybe we both will run Boston in 2016. I look forward to see you qualify for Western States 100. Keep up the great running and stay healthy. "
Dave Miller 5/15/14 9:31 am "Disappointed that I did not make the cutoff at Tenneesee Valley(mile 37.5) due to a very slow start...the long, slow conga line up the mountain and the long bathroom line at the top that took about 15 minutes ate into my overall time...too much fiber the day before the race wreaked havoc on my system and I spent too much time for bathroom stops at each of the first three ASs.
Next year, I'll take the Early start to avoid the conga line and potty line. "
