This is a true track double...10,000m is at 9:00AM and 5,000m will be announced, so runners must standby till it is announced...this standby period will be our halftime, so strategy is very important here for recovery to be effective.

Notes: Very hot when we started race at 1:50PM...12.5 laps on the track in the hot sun...not a good day for a fast 5K, plus my muscles were tired from the 10K race ran at 9:00AM.
Note that women ran separate from men
