I don't get ready, I stay ready...there's always something around the corner in the running world. It's best to always be prepared for that next unexpected opportunity.

Ran a PR of 45:04 in the Atlanta-Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race 10K. Excellent racing experience. Weather was cool and rainy - a nice change from the heat and humidity

5.12 miles to shake out the legs after last night's track speed workout. Last training run before the Peachtree Road Race on Sat.
Took my first trip to California for a double dose of excitement. I watched the Olympic Marathon Trials in person on Saturday and ran the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday. The course was an adventure since I'm not used to hill racing. I went into the race with a hamstring injury, so I didn't run for time and took it easy. For once I was able to enjoy the scenery of a race and enjoyed every minute of it. Asya Cabral 2/16/16 2:58 pm
I noticed that the Fit Log for this week starts with Sunday and ends on Friday. It normally starts with Monday and ends with Sunday. Points from Sunday, 11/2 are also being calculated twice - for both last week and this week. Has the Fit Log changed or is this an error? Asya Cabral 11/4/14 8:53 amFixed. It had to do with the time change. Bob Anderson 11/5/14 10:21 am
Day 31 Run Streak complete. I'm excited to have made it this far. Did a nice 5-mile run today and a 2-mile hilly run last night. Bob Anderson 6/27/14 8:32 pm Thank you! Almost there! Asya Cabral 6/30/14 6:47 am Your streak worked!!! Congrats on your 22:05 5k PR on the 4th!!! Bob Anderson 7/6/14 7:19 pm Thank you. I think the 5x800m repeat interval training I did for 4 weeks leading up top the race really helped! Asya Cabral 7/8/14 8:29 am
Made it to day 21 of the Run Streak - more than halfway to day 40. Did an easy 1 mile run today to give my body somewhat of a rest from the daily runs and workouts. Asya Cabral 6/15/14 6:47 am
We are only in June and the nasty, humid summer is here. Only five more months to go until we get some relief. Until then, early morning runs for us! Asya Cabral 6/10/14 8:48 am
Completed day 15 of the Runner's Streak Challenge. I have never been a daily runner and I am really enjoying it. Gearing up for my 4th of July 5K and then marathon training in July! Asya Cabral 6/9/14 7:33 am
