Fitness Statement	Realizing that I had to make a lifestyle change, I started walking in local 5k races 3years ago. An athletic friend said, "Hey, you are a strong woman, you should be doing 10k races" , so the beginning of 2013, I increased the distance to 10k. I try to get in 20-25 miles a week, some strength training and enjoy water aerobics. This year I am working on more strength and resistance training. My goal is to erase a few minutes off my time so I can place in upcoming races.

Running Achievements	Last year I attended 67 events, logging over 732competitive kilometers. In 2014, I placed in the top three of my age group at five races, two of those were first place. Not bad as a walker. I am proud to be a member of Team 2L2Q, and receiving the Most Fit Team recognition 3 times. I also am a member of the Red Power Divas.
