"Very difficult race for me as I struggled to maintain a decent pace...did OK in the 10K but could not hold it together in the last mile of the 5K...got passed by many in the last mile...thought I was going faster, but was disappointed to see the clock at 29:XX...guess I was still tired from Miwok 100K, where I was pulled at mile 37.5 for not making the cutoff. I will not quit trying to improve and will not let aging sabotage my efforts!!!"
