Annual road race of the West Valley Joggers & Striders running club...this race was first run in 1964. It is run in the Santa Cruz Mountains on paved roads and is very hilly with one very steep section for about a mile.

Notes: Felt OK, though a little tired from my Double track race 15K on Saturday. Walked the steep sections on Melody Lane...Caught up to and reeled in 17 year-old Stephen Marsinik, but my shoe lace came untied on the downhill, so he increased the gap between us.
