The course drops 2,000 feet in the first six miles, so this is an aided course. But the distance is 13.1 miles.

I averged 6:36 per mile. At 10 miles I was 6:25 and then my quads told me to stop but of course I didn't. I did not do any down hill training and my quads could not handle it. I almost could not support myself once I finished. It took me five days before I could run at all. The next year I ran some downhills in training and that did it. Just was not in as good as shape as I was this year. I had a sub 1:25 going!
