The Ten Miler Eugene

This first time race was pulled off well.  The course ran along side the river.  The start was just across from the Pre Trail.  It was mostly flat which rolled just a little.  There was no wind and the temp was perfect.  Chris Yates (215) was the overall winner in 52:41 followed by 42-year-old Everett Whiteside (2) in 54:25 who was also first master.  Stephanie Synder was first women (63:22) just beating out Jessie Stewart by one second.  Bob Anderson finished 38th overall with 69:19.  This was Bob's 37th race of the year.  Photos by Catherine Cross
