Notes: Icompeted in The USA Track and Field Masters 5K Road Championships in Syracuse, New York. I won the National Championship for the 60-64 age division and was also overall age graded champion with a 95.39%.
I ran 16:58 for the distance which is a new American record. The old record of 17:00 was set on June 1, 1986 by Jim O'Neil in Carlsbad, California.
