| Fitness Statement | Currently I am trying to qualify for Boston. I have been running recreationally for 12 years. This past year I started focusing on speed. I missed qualifying in June by 52 seconds. I have another opportunity in September. I am going to rock it. I believe in staying fit for life. I plan on continuing to run and strength train as long as I am physically possible. I run to stay in tune with myself and the Lord. I am using a talent He has given me - running to bring Him glory. |

Thanks, Lisa! I qualified on September 4! Yay! I am now just waiting until Monday, September 19 to register. It is a rolling registration allowing the fastest runners to register first.
