Had me a great two and a half hour tennis workout, but we did not come prepared. We got at the court and it was nice and warm when we began. But as the sun went down, the temperature dropped and my partner and I did not bring anything heavy to wear. It was not too cold, but the perspiration makes the clothes feel cold, anyway we did have a great workout and played a couple of sets.... ;-)
Was on the tennis court at 845am warming up. Warmed up for a good 45 minutes. Then we played our match, he could chase several shots down, but had no true put away game. I stayed consistent on my game and beet him 6-1, 6-3. It was very humid and I was wearing two t-shirts to get that extra sweat. Loved the great workout and win... ;-)
I was a little of today in my tennis match. My friend and hitting partner of 8 years beat me the old fashion way, he whipped me. I could not make most of my put away shots and hit the tape (the top on the net cord) too many times. Ran several shots down, just could not counter well enough to muster a good point. Oh well, at least I had a great workout...... '-)
Well had my second match of the season, a young man who chases all the shots down and makes the points longer. He also move me around a lot, but I kept my cool and put my shots away. Won the match and got a great workout... 6-3, 6-1.
Got to the tennis courts at 500pm and began our hitting session at 515pm. Worked on stamina and cardio, which means we try to hit as many shots as possible. Working each other from side to side and hitting at all kinds of pace. It was 97 degrees, we hit for two hours. I wore t-shirts for the first 45 minutes, was soaked and then put on a light shirt for the rest of the time... great workout... ;-)
Friday was a hot one, about 95 degrees, but we still got out to the court about 530pm and hit until 745pm. We did take some rest, because we were doing cardio tennis and working on service game. Did not do anymore because I was getting ready for my match Saturday morning... good workout... ;-)
Had a match early this morning, one that lasted a few hours from warm up to end. It was more humid than hot, so you I made sure I had a few extra shirts on had. Played very well and controlled the whole match. A nice smooth workout and fun time. Good workout...
Welll had one of two of my tennis matched today and it was humid. Got soaked but at least I won. We met at 615 and began to play at 630. Had some long points at first, but once ahead late in the first set, I got comfortable and began to hit most of my shots. Took the second set pretty easy, except for a few mental mistakes at the end, but finished it off. Very good workout in the humidity... ;-)
Hit the courts running and at full stride. Solid warm up, stretching and jogging. Short shots and then long shots. Played two sets and concentrated on shot selection. Ended up practicing and playing almost three hours, love tennis. ;-)
Nice and cool today 92 degrees, for us anyway, I had played a tennis match on Saturday and it was 107 degrees. Was a very challenging day that day, but today was nice. We warmed up for a good 45 minutes and then we played a few sets. I got to practice on a few shots that I need to be more aggressive on, and played for 2 and 1/2 hours...Great workout!!! ;-)Description
